Out of pure boredom more than anything else, Sam Cornwell heads to the Cardiff store today to buy an iPad. It’s mentioned in the video that the AppleGeek who helped with the purchase was slightly annoying…. So basically he introduced himself in the third person. “My name is Dan.. can Dan help you?” in a very rude tone to Bev and Sam. That didn’t bother them too much so they carried on and asked a few more questions. Dan was asked by Sam if there was a cable that could transfer video from the iPhone to the iPad as it’s pretty important that this can be done of course because of Sam’s daily vlog. His immediate reply was no, to which Sam and Bev disagreed. He trotted off and asked some of the tech guys. When he returned his answer was still no, however we were adamant that it could be done with a USB cable thingy you can buy from Apple. He told us that there were none open that we could test it with – which was a lie because later on he went and got one from out the back. He said four times “we’ll agree to disagree on this. It can’t be done.” He carried on by looking at the Apple website to prove us wrong. He then started questioning us with what we needed to do with the iPad and if it meant us buying or not buying an iPad if it couldn’t be done. Rudely and in an irate manner.
